Question: did I have yoko's and cup wing on for T-Hill time trial
Answer: yes
Question: Why not a cup car?
Answer: when I got it I wasn't ready - probably still am not - wife has no interest in Cup Car - still occasionally street it. Cost on cup car is higher for maint. - all the mods are bolt-on and easily returned to stock.
Question: how are the centerlocks working out?
Answer: great - no problems so far- and they have a clear maintain and replacement schedule (unlike consumer CL's - porsche is mute on recomended replacement schedule)
Question: is the OP insane
Answer: he owns a porsche - you determine the answer for yourself!
Answer: yes

OP--kudos on a great build. This thing takes commitment to get there, but there's no better reward than getting the best out of it and posting laptimes you're proud of.
Can you share what's the expected maintenance schedule on Cup CL's? Specifically, the life expectancy on the hub, wheel bearing and locknut?

Question: can you post the CL maint schedule for the cup-center lock and related parts.
Answer: I can not because I do not personally know it, but any competent race mechanic can get it from Porsche Motorsports - there is a schedule and I'm sure someone will chime in with the details - I do know a lot of the parts "time-out" after 50 hours of track use - but I could also be wrong. Please check with Porsche or your local porsche expert.

Beautiful car, and yes, she does ride like a dream, even from the right seat, and even in the rain. Nice job David and BRR.

Very nice project and car
Could anyone tell me what it will take to get this centerlock system on an 996 gt3 cup with the old CL system. Is it only the CL shaft an the wheel nut or is it the hub etc.?
