One thing about the switch-disconnect valve bypass "procedure"--it does create a code in the ECU whose "fault count" goes up every time you start the engine. It sticks out like a sore thumb once you connect the car to PIWIS. No harm done, but be prepared that any dealer worth his salt will spot and question this.

Roger that on the fault count. Indeed I try not to do it that way but for some folks that don't want to add a few vaumum lines/covers etc.. I'll add it into the article though!

You are a funny man! I am sooooo grateful I live on the west coast! I think the Florida heat has taken its toll on the "Trakcar nation" just as alcohol & drugs have caused dilutions of grandure with the " Raider Nation"

Dan, great in depth article on GT3's. I hope Sharkwerks does something like this with the Carrera S/GTS cars.
