Info on aqua blue 997.2 RS
Hi,
Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I've seen some other threads like this. I searched "Cars.com aqua blue" and I searched the VIN provided and if I can use the registry correctly I looked in there and didn't see this car listed. Does anyone know about this car http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...teo&BAC=CRTpdB
I'm guessing the price is slightly high because of the color? Would love any other info before I reach out to the dealer..

I was looking for a car like this one, but later changed my mind and went for a 997.1 RS instead.
I really like this color, and the combo with silver is much more attractive than with red trim IMO. Aqua blue ones are rare, and this combination rarer still. Price is a bit high, but miles are quite low and it has warranty remaining.
Good luck - it's a beauty!

PS - JHU are your initials or alma mater? I'm a JHU alum.

I actually had an Aqua/Gold one like this but no PCCB and sold it a few months ago. I wish I had not sold it, and want another one and have called on this one.
They arent willing to budge much on price (yet) and I think it's a bit over priced.
I actually sold John the red 996tt (hello John) and glad to see you have moved to an RS!

Haha RSRacer I'm sure if I call right after you that won't help them on price
I have to get better at spotting all of the various options packages...I know it wasn't a radio delete car but that's typically all I can tell.
Jon I am an alum as well. Small world!

It's a great looking car with decent options. Looks great in person too. No visible evidence of abuse - I've stopped by there twice to look. Looks like it was sold here Aug 2010 and registered in Cave Creek. I've never seen the car at a track event I've attended.
However, like most of their pre-owned offerings, it's priced way high (by about $20k). Also, although it's listed as a CPO vehicle, they typically ask for another $2k over the listed price for the CPO option. The problem is, around here someone will pay their asking price most of the time.
Personally, I'd get this one unless you want the blue color with a bunch of yellow stitching for an extra $20k:

I can suggest a sales person if you'd like - just pm me. However, I doubt they will move much on the price. It's only been on the lot a week or so. Although they do have 2 of them now, so you never know.

I was going to contact you to buy the blue RS, but I waited until I sold the turbo, and you had just sold your car when that happened. It would have made for a very funny coincidence!
As I studied them though, it seemed that the 997.1 RS fit my use better than the 997.2 RS, though, so I revised my search.
Switchcars has an aqua blue/gold 997.2 RS that I considered for a while, then decided to pass on.
