Default .2 GT3 clutch groan

Before my obligatory post with pics, I had a question for all you GT3 owners.
!
My clutch has a funny groan when pushing the pedal in. It happens toward the bottom of the pedal action, and is almost non existent when the car is cold or on short drives. Shifting is smooth in all gears, and the car drives incredibly well. My mechanic took a look and said its just some dirt or lack of grease that should be addressed when its time for some clutch work. I took his word for it and drove off only to wonder why it only becomes noticeable after 30+ min of driving. Car is a 2010 with 11500 miles.

Thanks!

Exactly the same as my old 996t, it got worse the hotter the car got, especially after a track session. You could also feel it through the pedal in the bottom 1/3 of the pedal travel. It was diagnosed as the clutch release bearing, nothing can be done short of pulling the box out and changing it.
