Bought Boxster 4.5 months ago, and now with 4500 miles, I have bought this to replace the Boxster

Delivery hopefully Sat 27 Oct.

Perfect spec for me:

Sport bucket seats
Dynamic engine mounts
Front axle lift
Leather/alcantara interior
PCCB
PCM, incl Universal Audio Interface
Telephone
Sport Chrono
Sound Package Plus
Cruise
Auto dimming mirrors
Carbon door sills

No rev range readings.

Serviced on time!

OPC is painting the center console.

This is my first 911, and also first GT3 .. would appreciate some tips and suggestions on how to drive it!

Grew up driving on the right side of the car and did so for 15 years. Moved to the US and it was like a light bulb. See, I am kinda tall and there is more leg room in a left hand drive car for your left leg because its not buried against the trans tunnel, just the right foot is, but it doesn't need the room. If you drive stick, it makes more sense that as you go up gears the stick moves away from you to. It always felt strange to me driving stick right hand drive and reaching so far to do the 1-2 and reverse movements.

Wish the whole world was LHD. Would help to make cars cost less to.

You found the slippery slope rather quickly.
Myself, it took a bit longer.
4.5 months...impressive. Love that GT3.

the 981 has drawn lots of looks and provoked countless positive comments

I have hankered after a GT3 since June 11, when I drove one ... it's been a very long wait.

Did a hairdresser give you an offer on your boxster that you couldn't refuse?

I kid. I kid...

Nice upgrade
