Anyone running their front bar on nearly full stiff or full stiff?
Hi there
Anyone running their front bar set to full stiff or one of full stiff? Is it too stiff, how is it in the wet?
I am still experiencing a neutral car and would like a bit more push especially in the wet. Problem is softer is normally better for wet conditions so going stiffer might a bad idea on the front bar? I can't go softer in the rear as using GT2 bar set to softest and front bar is set to soft, so can go one setting further softer or two settings stiffer.
Tried putting 2psi more in fronts and 2psi less in rears. This helped a little, also moved the front 7mm spacers to the rear and put 5mms on front, so maybe try an even wider rear spacer?

If you are going for lap records in the wet then hopefully someone, other than you, is paying the bills. Just stiffen the front bar another hole - no big deal - car will also be more stable on entry trail braking - another good thing.
You can / should also consider dropping the rear ride height 5-10mm for more rear grip - separately or in addition to slightly more front bar (but one thing at a time is best)
I run mid front and mid gt2 rear

hey guys, i got some really, really soft shocks on my car.(tarmac rally shocks) What setting should i run on my sway bars for a bumpy road course such as Sebring?
the shocks are stiff as stock under normal driving, but under load they become softer with good range of travel throughout the dampning.
For bumpy tracks where the car can become upset and unsettled they may actually be decent on DOT tires.

I am basically a little nervous at corner entry, sometimes it can feel very neutral and quick into oversteer at corner entry point, which I don't like! Corner exit I have progressive oversteer with too much throttle input which I quite like.
So if stiffening the front bar one notch (that leaves only one stiffer setting to go) shall improve stability at corner entry that will be great.

Not interested in lap records.

Can you give us your alignment basics again and do you have fresh tires?
- if the car is loose on entry and exit, it will work for autocross but not for most road coarses
- loose on entry is usually a rear steering problem (rear toe, non working LSD, shot rear tires, way f'ing too much rear bar)
- you can compensate for this by fixing the front but you should re-check rear-toe, LSD and you should have good tires before you 'fix' the problem by moving the front bar
- since you have a non-small issue, I would put the front bar to full stiff to see if 'works' for you after you check the rear setup
- do you have a printout for a recent alignment showing your rear toe?
- are you running stock rear toe arms?
- are you running after market solid rear toe arms that may have developed play in them (this is known to happen)?
- does your car rear end wiggle under braking? (indication of LSD not functioning)
