Default removing rear bumper on 997.2 gt3 RS

I'm having trouble accessing the screws inside the wheel well since there is very limited space between the tire and bumper. How do you guys do it without removing the wheels?

You have to lift the car so that the wheel hangs down and use an appropriately sized tool.
A bit of a PITA.
Good luck, w

I'll try lifting the car to see if that gives me enough room. I don't have the socket to remove the CL wheels.

IMO no. I don't know how you could do it without removing the wheels. You'd need a long very adjustable series of extensions. Then how in heck would you get it back in there?

It was a bit of a PITA even with the wheel off.

my way.....that rear splash shield in the wheel well comes off so very easy, 5 screws if i remember. i take the wheel off and take that rear splash shield off then access that bolt. then you can clean up those shields real nice before reinstalling.

just need the right tool. No need to take the wheels off.
lift the car on a jack and with the right tool, it can be done without drama.
