Who insures your GT3?
Guys,
Would be great to get some advice from those of your with RS/GT3s about insurance best practices, who you've had good luck with ensuring your "high-end" car(s), what you typically do, if anything, for track days, etc.
This will be the first time I've insured a car of this value and I do plan on regular track days, so I'm assuming this isn't going to be as straightforward as approaching Geico for an online quote.
I'm going to be based in Texas so if you can recommend a good agent or broker there the referral would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Marc

I insure my .2 GT3 with Chubb and while I can't recall all the particulars of my policy I know I'm paying about $70-80/month in CA, which seems like a steal. I'll get details from my broker if you want. GLWTP.

Thanks, TNetworks. Yes, that does sound like a very good deal. Please pass that along in a PM if you can.

I use State Farm County Mutual. If you are going to be relocating in the Austin area, I can recommend a good agent locally.

I too had USAA until I realize how many price increases they push on me. After a quick phone call to State Farm my yearly expense went down by $900.00. I now use State Farm on all my cars.

You guys are getting good quotes, I have Farmers for my place, as well as my car, and im at $1413 per 6 months after a lot of discounts including an 18% medical field discount. Im being told its because I live in SF. I got other quotes for comparison from State Farm, and they were a bit higher. I have 0 tickets, and 0 at fault accidents for 10+ years
