Default Daytona PCA DE MPSC Advice

Have a new set of MPSCs. 997.1 GT3 RS. 19"
305 30 R19 & 235 35 R19

Any experience with recommended tire pressures?

Thanks for any guidance.

Do a search on RL and you'll find a lot of useful info. As for me, I followed Michelin's guideline (on their website) for (hot) 32-33 front and 35-36 rear for my 7.2 GT3 and have found it to work very well on the track (33/36 is my target pressure). Also seems to help the wear pattern which is uniform across the tires (-2.0 F/R all else stock) and they seem to last about 12 t-days or 60 heat cycles.

No flames please :-) :-) I'm not the expert on heat cycles but the way I got to around 60 is 12 track days at 5-20min sessions, sometimes only 4, sometimes more plus the drive to/from the track (75mls one-way). I don't drive on the street except to/from the track so this might help my wear. I also leave all my nannies on and don't do a whole lot of sliding. The tire performance doesn't drop off too much when they get "old" just that it takes longer to heat up (and quicker to cool down) which is no problem in summer here in CA but can be an issue in late fall/early spring.
Now, I probably only drive at 7-8/10th of what's possible but I still manage respectable times at Laguna, Sears or T-Hill, my three tracks. I drive by the mantra of one of our best-known RLers, "giving away" a few seconds here and there due to 1) Skill, 2) Fear, 3) Wife and 4) Insurance, while having a lot of fun. cheers:

Daytona also requires a unique setup, if you're not re-alinging the car for the banking you'll typically want to run an extra 1-2lbs in the right rear (and keep a keen eye on this after each session).

Perfect... Thanks for all the guidance. It gives me a place to start. I found a few threads on the Daytona tire setups, but couldn't find any details on the MPSC working pressures based on experience.

Based on what you guys are saying, 32 psi left rear and fronts, and 35 rear right.

I plan to drive 7/10's there and not FLATOUT.

Thanks again for all the help!

I'm sure you'll be lured into "flat out " at Daytona....trust me! LOL....

Listen to Red Bear...he knows but i thought MPSC hot pressure was 32front 36 rear for road course then for roval the right side was to be increased 2-3psi...especially right rear per the Michelin booklet on MPSC that I have?

Michelin people will most likely be there...at least they were the last few years. However over inflate right rear for sure and make sure you are not running extreme camber.

Thanks Mike.I will look them up and hopefully they are there.

I will resist going Flat Out, as difficult as that may be.
