I see Bob Varela is the PBOC prez. Have known him since 1995 so will call him tomorrow.
Will want to take my "sorry beetle" to the event. Working on getting a trailer now.
Us old guys were fast.

Best open trailer for a GT3 RS, Trailex CT-8045.

Linky here http://www.trailex.com/CT-8045.cfm

Best enclosed trailer for a GT3 RS, Peter Brock's creation (the guy that designed the Shelby Daytona Coupe), the AeroVault

Best enclosed trailer for a GT3 RS and a crazy party, TPD bar none 28'. A friend of mine has one with DirectTV, a flat screen plasma, a nice sound system, seating for 6, bottle openers, last time he was planing on a Disco Ball and some Disco lights.

I'm not interested in any records during winterfest, I don't drive hard in DE unless there is clear sailing or at least mostly fast cars. I'll probably do all four days and hopefully get some clean laps in on Thu/Fri and leave early on Sunday to get back.
With open passing you still get to have a good time. Everyone in SuperSolo is awesome, no one holds you up, they share the track. Best DE event EVER. Period.

Also, there is the Saturday night drag races on the main straight - run what you brung.

I agree, Super Solo is the best singular DE group I've ever run with. I've had some great times with SS at Barber and Road Atlanta. However, at the last Road Atlanta event, there were several drivers not up to par with Super Solo and just plain getting in the way. Just hope they aren't letting too many unqualified drivers into the group.

Its self policeing!

We all have video on board, you show what you saw, give your opinion on other drivers and if enough agree, they go back to solo for a while...

PBOC SuperSolo is the very best DE experience nationwide, non qualified drivers are moved out of SuperSolo, except PBOC long time friends, and they are courteous.

Winterfest is the best DE experience on any given year, the fun off track is unreal, and we get to drag race, autocross and DE Cup drive. The fast group consumes more alcohol than fuel, and Don Jose considers us their amigos. The Chateau girls love us.

I will be there the full time, including night practice on Wednesday. I expect to co-drive in the 6 hour day/night enduro, in addition to my duties for PBOC coaching the racers + SuperSolo from the corners. In addition, I have a limited number of openings for one-on-one in-car coaching...

if you thought they were unqualified then that was the time to say something ... if anyone you feel is that way at your next event say something.. then not now.. what happened then is not important if you did not say anything.. self policing ... I have run with SS from the beginning and we have not changed the rules..
