Default How many track days between oil changes

How many track days can you do in between oil changes (assume five 20 minute sessions are being driven per day)

Specifically, the car is a 2010 GT3.

Thanks.

I was just going to ask the same question. Every day, every 5 days, every 10 days? Do you change the oil and filter at the same time or filter every other time?

Same here. After 3 events (2 days each) for engine oil, double that for tranny.
ALWAYS inspect the filter and the drained oil and also transmission fluid.

i do every 3-4 track days and send oil analysis to blackstone. comes back clean. per their analysis, i don't have to change oil that often.

5 days, +/- 1 day depending on track schedule, etc. If I have 4 days on the oil and have a 3-day weekend coming up, I will change it. If 2 day weekend coming up, may wait.

Always did it after every 2-3 weekends , unlike some of my privileged friends, I'm perfectly able to change my own oil.

I refuse to be bullied into updating my avatar, its *** white with yellow headlights, dime a dozen.

Oh, I thought you meant transmission oil...
I have not seen the car since you tinted all the windows yellow also!

What gets me confused is I drive my car on the street so for this scenario what would you do?

Changed oil and then did:
1 track day then 700 street miles
1 track day and 600 street miles

then I have 2 track days at Barber and 600 street miles back home

So that's 4 track days and 1900 street miles on the oil. Change before the trip to Barber or wait and change when i get back home?
