If it looks like Izzy and Rad are serious, then I will bring Blackie down from Arlington (as opposed to hauling the Silver Bullet all the way up from Florida). But we do need get on this asap as the end of season events at VIR sellout each year. FWIW - as PCA groups go, I really like NNJR.

I already signed up for VIR with NNJR-PCA 2 weeks ago. The event is already wait listed, as this is one of the biggest events of the year for the largest PCA region.

On the way down, I might stop by RRR, Road Atlanta, NOLA or AMP depending on what's on schedule.

Give up the BMW, and get an used 2008 Cayenne Turbo, mine is a 2006.

Awesome vehicle to run errands, great gas mileage when towing, awesome brakes, awesome sound system, it handles great, the air suspension is super, the tow package already includes the transmission cooler, mine has over 30k miles of towing.

It beats a Dodge RAM Diesel on a drag race, the RAM empty vs the CTT with the trailer attached tools and tires loaded and a 3,309 Fiat on it.

I've driven a 2009 gts cayenne...assume turbo just has more powa

Handles like a garbage truck and the interior is circa 1984

Maybe 2011 tt will fall into my price range one day

Screw that gas tow vehicle and get a diesel truck, either Dodge or Chevy as Ford reliability sucks. I have 125k miles on my 07 2500 Cheby diesel with over 60k miles of towing. 0 problems just change oil and tranny fluid once in a while, I am still on the original brake pads.

finally finished loading rig tonight for VIR David Murry event... and Chin Road Atlanta... and Chin Sebring... and PBOC Sebring and the 48.... Got to pack it right as the rig ain't coming back home to Virginia for the next 6 months.

FWIW - decided to leave the PCCBs on the Silver Bullet for the next 6 months. Unloaded all my PDC steel brake stuff from the rig and leaving it behind for the GT3 here in the mid-Atlantic. My back is killing me.
