Default Bent wing risers?

http://bridgetogantry.com/2/index.ph...e-nordschleife

Guy with forced induction in his 997.2 GT3 managed to collapse his rear wing from the downforce driving Vmax at the Ring. With pics.

Sort of epic, if true. Looks like either the RS wing or an aftermarket look-alike. Anyone else have any experience with the sturdiness of the .2 metal uprights? I've never really looked at them up close.

might not be an oem support. if its aftermarket, it might have been made of thinner aluminum. but nevertheless, its still pretty funny to look at.

doesn't look like the factory uprights to me, the edges are too sharp vs the OE, IMO

Definitely an aftermarket wing on aftermarket uprights. The consistency of the aluminum texture and the shape of the openings are obvious tells. Still look mighty funny... proof that these cars DO have some degree of aero effect
