Interesting results so far. It looks like we're in the minority against new technology and die hard GT3 fans. And I'm sure RLers are more hardcore (pro-manual transmission) than the average.

My ISF shifts lightning quick. But I'm sure a manual box would be more fun.

I've driven manuals for over 45 years. I've owned a PDK Carrera S for 3. I'm not going to get into the which is more fun question. Totally subjective. But driving my Carrera S, almost always in manual mode using the paddles is definitely fun, in some ways more so than a MT in other ways less. One thing that's not in question; it's faster in every driving situation I can think of. Other than that, TEHO, and I hope Porsche offers a choice of MT on the new GT3 for those who aren't convinced.
