is it inconceivable?
will the F1 and Nordschleife survive?
Nurburg and the other small villages in the area pretty much live on the tourism generated by the venues and associated events like DTM VLN and tourist days not to mention RMA, Scuderia Hanseat, Manthey, BMW Club, BMW and Porsche drivers schools etc etc ...
I assume that it will be placed under some form of receivership ... hope its still there next year!
its very very sad that this had to happen

It's really sad to see this happen, but I think tf will still be run on the nordschleife it just maybe a different format from the public toll road kind of set up

Look, its just a dance that goes on between the State Government and the Federal Government and which ever bunch of moron private investors are presently involved.
Does this sound familiar.
There are banks in Germany controlled by local politicians and banks controlled by Federal politicians. It will all sort itself out over a protracted period. This place is why German cars are so good. (along with the Autobahnen and the German character).
Neither Porsche nor Audi, nor BMW or Daimler can get enough days for private driver programs, its that busy. The manufacturers get told 'don't complain, or we will reduce your days'.

Will it survive, probably so. Definitely in the short term but long term how does this pan out. How much of what is built up will go vacant in the years to come? Unless financial reports are released to the common citizen, nobody will know how this will pan out.

Big fuss over nothing. Parent company will go bankrupt, banks will lose money on stupid loans for the new white elephant project that should never have been built and a new company will emerge still running the stuff that's ran successfully for the last few decades ie the track.
