Was told by a couple of different pro racers to do that - so you don't have torque in the throttle as you bounce around and upset the car when your foot is bouncing around, especially since don't need much acceleration thru esses.

i rarely go to 2nd as well in the RS. now a regular 3 will use 2nd a lot more
I probably don't need 2nd gear in t1 or at the top of t14 (roller coaster) - I just like hitting the gas and sliding the rear end.

FINE. 6th gear was changed by Gavin for the previous owner, it is a 5th gear from a 2007 RS, so yes it is a lower than stock 6th gear now. All other gears are the same.

All gears are changed. Who opens the box and only puts in 1 gear.
Probably full suspension and 4.3L too..

Time to sniff out the cheater parts..

LOL :-)

Makes my 2:06 on RA1 almost bone stock quicker ;-)
As soon as we unload at Autobahn, I'll ask Randy to snoop under Clarke cheater mobiles.

I guess it's too late to rehear our cars, hehe..

Dude....

You gotta stop the one handed driving.

I was yelling at you thru the monitor.

Dangerous.

Nice driving otherwise.

Clarke, is this the right breakdown at VIR for the DE Cup?

Moving Chicane Cup: 2:10 or slower
Coffee Cup: 2:05-2:10
Gold Cup: 2:00-2:05
Platinum Cup: under 2:00

Well, now the cat is out of the bag....you should let Sly drive the RS then. Or get a stock gearbox, otherwise you will never hear the end of it.
