Remember, the A/C compressor kicks off at WOT, that is why the car does not feel any slower on track with A/C on...

I think it's a safety issue in case they need to extract a driver.
I notice my coolant temp is higher when sitting at idle with no AC.
My first time there I ran a 2:07 in my full weight car on dried up old R6 scrubs I bought from Bob Chick (he did warn me). Had a set of moderately used Yokos in my truck, but Sasco was closed due to a death in the family so I was stuck on those ice skates for 3 straight days. I left really disappointed with that weekend. Im really going because I want to win some more tires to add to my stockpile for NASA Nationals. That and NARRA events are really fun (other than TT grouping with DE).

In Europe windows must be closed.
If you take an advanced car to the track it will close the windows on impact?
Who knows better, bubba running the track since 1963 or the car manufacturers?

Burning Brakes
Shoot, I think my 1987 928S4 had that feature as well, come to think of it. It was up against the fire wall on the passenger side.
