Rob,

We def. had a great time, and are very happy that such a clean car ended up in your hands.

Thank you for the opportunity

Rob,

They are gorgeous. These two cars definitely wound up in good hands. Best of luck with them.

I'm not actively looking, but still need a cup rear bumper, so please do let me know if you come across any spares.

Congrats on both cars Rob! I'm a little jealous to be honest but have too much on my plate to have the time for such fun occasions...

The GT3 looks gorgeous with black wheels, she needs some track patina though I'll try to come up and say hello next Wed as well if I get the chance

Comforting to read that someone else had the same experience I did driving a 996 CUP for the first time. I found it to be a wicked little biatch! The handling, grip and feedback are incredible but the shifting I've only got 5 1/2 days in the last 6 months in it, so the shifting still intimidates me. Do you happen to have 5.5" tilton clutch? That doubles the shifting fun

Awesome rides, have fun!

996 GT3 Cup shift gate is in fact narrow and crisp. First times out, really take your time shifting down. Practice it a lot with engine off. Then when driving do downshifts that cross the gates (5-4, 3-1) unnaturally slowly. In time, you will become accustomed to shorter, more precise movements with your right hand, and in the end it is a fantastic box IMO.

Good tip Dave! Maybe I'll have Orbit take the GB out and I'll sit it at my desk at work and practice.

Awesome video Jenk! Wonder if Tucker can shift like that now...LOL.
