Default Pagid Yellow RS19/29 versus Hawk DTC 60/70

I've gone through sets of both Pagid "Yellow" RS19 and RS29 but was thinking of trying a set of Hawk DTC 60 or DTC 70.

One piece of advice I heard was to try the DTC 60 in front and 70 in the rear for a bit better sharing of braking duty.

Track application, 20+ days per annum, instructor group.

Any thoughts? TIA

Love to hear more.
I've been running DTC70 for years on my Mustang and they have been very good and long lasting.

I've run DTC-60 in my 996 GT3 for the past two years. For the price (<$500 for front and rear combined) you can't pull me away from them. I ran pagid orange/black on my old C2 and found the pads pretty comparable but the hawks have more initial bite.

I love the DTC60s on my turbo. You can use these for track and street as the initial bite is great.

I have run DTC 60/70 on both the M3 and Boss and now run PFC on M3 and Cobalts on the Boss. Hawk brake dust is really corrosive and the DTC60 are very hard on rotors. Price isn't everything.

+1. We destroyed a set of DTC60's in a 1.5 days at Road Atlanta on my buddies E46 M3, with cooling ducts and a Stoptech kit, instructor level. I'd personally try 70's all around.

He has since switched to PFC08's and the wear is much better than any Hawk I've ever seen.....I use the Raybestos ST43 on my M3, and they wear like iron, but 08's weren't available for the M3 back then.

Depending on your home track, if you can get enough cooling to the RS29's, they still work well, but it seems smart money is now on the PFC08.
