Tires? It is an incredible time, and even more so, if on Super Sports. Allan

Car has got some juice, 137 on the front straight with all weight. Too much squeel to be anyhing really sticky, sounds like super sports. Could be r888 at most though

Why do you post this? a Godzilla on street tires running faster than your Aero Beetle in race tires? This is the VW forum, we are supposed to make the Aero Beetles look good and everything else look slow and unreliable.

The video shows that T1 is extremely slow, no Aero help, then point and shoot, it requires a very short 2nd gear.

Leh is da King.

I bet Leh would run 2:12-2:13 or better in that car on PSS at Sebring. Doesn't matter who posts it, pretty much makes everybody look bad.

Track does look point and shoot though. AWD will have big advantage there.

Yea Leh can make us look slow in whatever we're driving. I think we've all seen him in the M3 at roebling all over the cup car in front of him

Super Fast Ian ran a 2:18 on crappy PS2 and vastly less powerful GT2 in very hot conditions, so I bet with you that Leh would run those smoking fast times, on street tires, but even on street tires, that Godzilla thingy would have to run in TTR, although on slicks it would run even faster, amusing that a full interior street car on slicks can run times as fast as a factory race car from Fiat or VW (458 Challenge and 3.8 GT3 Cup).

Well with twice the HP, and AWD I can see how it would work, but they suck in world challenge when classed. It's rather odd.

In the SCCA (Pirelli sponsored WC), cars cannot exceed 525Hp, very likely the GTR is running at this maximum. While other cars are using truly sequential transmissions, the GTR has to use the bulky heavy DCT tranny, and being AWD it is probably running on the heavy side of weight.

I think the 2012 OLOA winner makes more than 525Hp, based on 1/4 mile times and speed, Leh mentioned they did not run at full power to preserve the car for the rest of the OLOA race.

Of course it does, it makes a ton of hp. Well over 700 whp. I guess what's odd is that it's barely faster than the GTS class cars. I think it runs a real sequential though, not DSG

How many laps do you think he gets before he overheats it?
