Group Buy, Voltphreaks lithium battery group buy

Earlier in the thread, there is a statement that "some GT3s" will not be suitable for the battery because of their charging systems. I will check mine today, but shouldn't all the charging systems in our gt3s be the same--assuming same year, etc.? Does this mean some may be defective and should be replaced or just that based on accessories some may not have enough capacity?

I would suggest 12.5V for virtually all applications. Even for a track application, you don't gain much by going with 11.5V. Unless the car is 100% track, then consider the 11.5V cutoff level. Added you to the group buy, thanks. - Tony

Since there have been interest in the remote harness, and Battery Tender Jr, we are giving a 20% discount for group buy participants also. For participants of the group buy, along with the purchase of a battery, you can get one remote cable harness, and one battery tender jr, at a 20% discount also. Note that this is optional, you don't need to purchase these to join the group buy.
Also, if you already have a suitable float charger / battery maintainer device, you don't need to get the Battery Tender Jr. Thanks! - Tony

It was mentioned that you may not be able to get to the battery, in case the battery dies. If the battery dies (shuts off) because the LVC shuts off the battery (for example, after the car is parked for 3 weeks), you need to press the button on the battery to turn it back on.
This is because to access the battery, you may need to open the trunk/"frunk", which requires power (there may be no manual over-ride). Normally there is an access method where you connect another 12V battery, to give the car power to open the trunk/"frunk". This is how you would normally do it if you had a lead-acid battery, for example, and you can do this with the Voltphreaks battery also. But, if you want convenience, having the remote pushbutton harness and putting the pushbutton somewhere accessible will make it very convenient to turn back on the battery in this situation. So, you may want to consider the remote harness cable if you will be encountering this situation.
Someone with more knowledge, feel free to chime in. Found a link about using a "donor battery" to open the hood/trunk/"frunk":

With the remote cable, you wouldn't need to do this, which adds a layer of convenience in the situation of a dead battery.
