Wow, I can't believe no other members were up there. You definitely should bring the 4.0 out next time. If I come up Monday it will be after lunch. When are you going back up there?

The lapping thingy most GT3 drivers do around here, and their proud hero laps at Road Atlanta, 9 seconds slower than TTU, that's just not for me.
Hahaha, I can't wait for you to come up here so I can watch our TTA VETTE boys give you all you can handle. Fwiw the Corvette that set the old TTU record at sebring ran a 1.32 right before that 2:18. TTA boys significantly faster. Do the math.

I bet you won't beat Popps TTS record.

The TTS record at RA is fishy, NASA should have impound after a class record, dyno and scales right away. Danny doesn't stand a chance against the National Top SCCA T1 drivers, and none of the T1 guys have been anywhere close to that fishy 1:27.29 time.

If my math is right, my Fiat on hard slicks could run a 1:31 at Road Atlanta, but that's before it gets ready, so the 1:27 is at risk, probably the end of this year.

Are you running any NARRA event? WGI, Monticello and VIR?

First time at Road Atlanta, 1:31 would be good in your car.

I will be at VIR with NARRA.

Michael, I'm planning to be there Monday about 10AM if it's not raining. Should be clear sailing again. Allan

Michael, I just checked the AMP Schedule and my apparently inferior "Platinum" membership isn't listed for Monday. But, it is for Tuesday, so, I'm planning to be there then. Allan

Nothing fishy about his times. He's in my area, and I've seen him drive countless times. He's as good as many pros, but he isn't rich and doesn't have the "hookup" that many other racers have which give them the breaks they need. He has a family to support, so he doesn't have the luxury of chasing after rides. Trust me, you put him in a vette and he's scary fast. If you want a fast vette, you let him set it up and work on it.

This. The TTS Corvette crowd here in the midwest is seriously fast. Discouragingly fast as a matter of fact.

Say what you want, but less than three seconds slower than the pros in 2011 997 cups with what they claim is 375 whp and 3200 lbs race weight is fishy, especially when the motor blows up immediately after the session and there is no video or data to be heard of.

Their time at Road Atlanta is not closely related to their times elsewhere in that car.

Coupled with the numerous VETTE cheating in the southeast ill buy it when data and video are to be had of the run.

+1. Danny does seem to blow up a lot of motors.
