well the initial bar has been set for the DE CUP. track is still very slick and i had on fresh 5/32 ra1's. my best time was a 1:32 and there is a ton of room for improvement. reese *** who is a really good driver that has a bunch of NASA time trial lap records was out there in c5 vette on hoosiers and said he clocked a 1:31.3 in the morning. our times will easily be in the 20's once the track settles in

Any plans for NASA to run Time Trials at AMP?
I wish my Fiat could pass sound there, it looks like the best autoX course in the South East.
This 2nd video looks a lot faster, who was driving?

NASA was one of the first clubs to try and get a weekend while the track was being built so I'm sure they will eventually have everyone there trying to get that 1st lap record in their class.
I got black flagged a couple times for sound. With stock center section and side muffler delete I was hit at 99db and limit is 98db. To me that's not really going to cause a stir by surrounding businesses but I understand the track trying to abide by all the rules right now as they could be closed down if they get to many complaints in the openening months
Lol, that was my twin brother

Looks Fun... Narrow though. NASA is suppose to be racing there this fall... I plan to attend. I guess we'll see how narrow it is when cars are racing.

I hope the asphalt holds up well. Usually it is nice to let it cure for about 4 weeks. Roebling Road did a repave back in 1994 and let cars on it pretty quick and the started to show signs of wear way early. The next time they repaved just a few years back, they let it cure for 30 days. It is holding up MUCH better.

i was thinking they should let it settle a bit before driving on it, but people have been waiting for so long for it to open. i knew they wouldnt be able to hold back. we will see how well it holds up
