Default Recaro Seat Install

I am trying to install a Recaro SPG XL on the drivers side and a Recaro SPG on the passenger side. I have the straight aluminum side plates from Recaro for both sides along with Recaro sliders and seat bases from the great people at RSS. With the side plates the same and the SPG seat being about 1" narrower than the XL how do I use up the space between the plates and the sides of the SPG seat?
Any help would be appreciated. The time it is a tick'n.

Brackets are your friend. you need the correct side brackets. The XL is same shell as Pole Position. Seat Base? Do you mean the Brey Krause type rails that bolt to floor and then the slider simply attaches? I would just buy the Brey Krause side brackets for the standard SPG as they are designed to fit the Recaro slider then with no additional stuff needed

Get the BK brackets anyway, they will lower the seat by an extra inch.
