The track has a very high speed section that starts at T13 and goes all the way to T1. This is the section where men would be separated from girls. This is where a car with huge Aero (all the downforce that can be added) will destroy on lap times, as long as the car can go flatout from exit of T13 through T14,T15,T16 up to the braking for the fist hairpin.

At T1, the track becomes an autocross with the exception of two power zones from T1 to T2, and T6 to T10.

Too much Aero won't be a problem, because the rest of the track is a series of very low speed turns, as shown by the video with David Murry, the other from Seth Thomas, and the calculated speeds the track has posted in the following link ==> http://www.atlantamotorsportspark.net/pdf/speed.pdf. Big Aero has very low drag at low speed (remember drag and downforce are exponential to speed).

At 1.8 miles long and an average estimated speed of 73 mph with 16 turns, it must keep the steering busy. Nice autocross.

The Cayman should be somehow fun, but it would be murdered from T13-T1.

This is one track where a 3.8 and 4.0 RS would have no problem with 700Hp Vettes. Problem is, how can you make a pass without the guy in front giving up?

As I said, walls everywhere, and very easy to get in trouble, an off means a wreck.

I like it a lot, it's unfortunate that it is too easy to wreck a car there.

Actually, after watching that video, I realize this is the fastest I have seen you driving, you kept up with the SCCA T1 Vette, good job. With more seat time, you might be able to get out of the Cup of Coffee group.

Well Rad, will you join us at Autobahn July 6th and the rest of Mancation?
15 consecutive track days, better bring a backup car, the Fiat would never make it.
We will see who's faster at Road America and Mosport. I'll put some good Belgian beer on Mike.

Thanks for posting the amp track map with speeds.

Nothing like sipping a cup of joe and going around the track like jean Girard in talladega nights

A really slow car in a DE group could make driving there excruciating... Especially with 30-40 cars on track and multiple slow drivers.

And this track will be very hard on beginners, timid drivers and tough on heavy cars, and an exercise in patience for cars with high hp.

I still think driven in anger it might be pretty fun, but hard on the brakes without much area for cooling, and lots of braking zones. Ultimate drivers track for sure, somewhat of a car equalizer.

I think the kart track will be epic.

Wish US tracks would adapt the FIA regulations. The paved run off area for F1 circuits is huge. Suspect that the cost would double.

Hey Jenks, Since Rad appointed you to my run group, I'm honored to have you in the Coffee Cup group on GT3DE Cup with me.

Thanks for posting Jenks. Glad to to see that the track is finally open.... It looks good to me, though a bit narrower than I would like. Spec Boxster will really enjoy it though...

So then I expect to see you out there at some point. Mountain runs and auto x are your specialty and this track combines that all in one
