Labor:
Estimated installation cost will vary per installer, but it should be close to 50 hours of labor.
Parts:
Parts Cost for 4.0 L conversion on a 3.6L GT3 or GT3 RS is $ 14,650
50 hours-$00 per hour $5k
$15k parts
$5k labor

$25k
Sharkwerks does it for the same price.

Engine OK
Gavin's suspension ??? The day I see a Top level team running those on those cars, or maybe a back to back test, I could be sold until than, whatever is proven to work.
A lot more involved in suspension than shocks.
Aero - 10K
Wheels, tires, interior, transmission, clutch, brakes.

Still far away from being the ultimate DE car.

There is no such thing as free labor, and you're still missing basic parts, brakes? wheels? tires? diff? axles? the horrible gearing in the 997.1 GT3 ?
The 4.0 upgrade on a 3.6 car for $25k makes a lot of sense for a 3.6 that has been tracked and is high on miles. $25k is the cost with everything else being perfect, but opening an engine reveals surprises when doing this type of work, and better to fix it while open than seal it and having to open it again a few months later.

I've seen Gavin and Paul run with the exe-tc suspension. Seems good enough for me. Paul has like 8 months of DE experience and that car is dialed in nicely and he's boogying around sebring. You could sub jrz or whatever in for the same money. Tomatoe tamatoe. Aero is 10k if I buy it from you
If you want civic parts for a Porsche
I'm the theory either I do it right or I don't do it.

A bone stock 3.8RS would go faster, it would not be a beast. For the money, a real 3.8RS would be a better value (less money lost).

Are engine gaskets, oil, water pump, oil pump, bearings, etc included in the upgrade kit? planning to reuse them? good luck.
$25k is a super good deal especially for gains of 80 whp, and a fresh engine, but the minimum bill should be closer to $35k (taxes, shipping, proper labor rates).

Weaksauce rebuttal. It's a UK part. Not some Brazilian knock off What fault can you can you find with that product? That's like saying guard isn't a worthwhile option since you can put a motorsports product in.

$100/hr to top notch engine builders? good luck with that. If you find me a top notch Porsche engine builder that works for those rates, let me know, I will start a new business marking him up 50% and selling his work worldwide.
