Toronto Motorsport Park, 1:20.5 lap time. I've been trying for a few years now to get into the 1:19's using RA1's so I hope this year will be it!

Peter
What group did you drive with at Mid Ohio? I've not had the opportunity to drive the pro course as most regions run the bus stop.

Personally, I prefer it, because it gives a higher speed entry into the Keyhole, and allows more line experimentation there to get the car better pointed into the bend for a faster exit..

Tres bien!

My #1 bucket list track, especially since my 87 year old dad fought there in the War.

Scott, last fall the Mid Ohio PCA chapter ran the club course on Saturday and the pro course on Sunday. It was a lot of fun trying the different layout. They also thru the checker flag back in madness instead of at the start finish line - so cars came off the circuit much more quickly. Made for more run time. A very well run DE event

If I could pick one track to go to, that would be it, bar none. Best track in the world IMO.

I'd love to have about a week to learn the track and then stick a sticker set of A6's on my car and go for it!

Europeanmegamancationing anyone?

Thanx Jimmy, that was Luke Youlden. He has got amazing car control and can drive that sucker on the limits of adhesion... the tyres can be heard howling on every corner. He's seriously quick! It was forecast for showers so I took the safe option and went with the Michelin Super Sports, most others were running R comp tyres... The best times I heard being done on their r-comps were in the 1.50's so I was about 1 sec off with street tyres (respectable, I hope)... Luke was over 4 sec faster than those guys on my street tyres and did it so effortlessly that you'd think he was out for a sunday drive!

Yeah, it was disappointing that he sold it after 2-3 months...

My wife and I are going to go, and I am going to rent a track car and drive it, after I pay my respects to all of my dad's mates who gave all in that area and were buried there (Battle of the Bulge, etc were all fought right there). I will let you know when we go, it would be fun if you could also make it! I've not met your wife, but have a feeling our wives would hit it off & have plenty to do while we spent a week at the track.
