Default Brombacher bypass

HI All.

Just wondered what your thoughts were on FVD Brombacher, considering the bypass either in SS or Titanium. i know most people would say go for Sharkworks, but unfortunately there is no distributors here in the Middle East, and my local friendly porsche specialist is the local FVD supplier

The FVD is still cheaper, without shipping. and i think as the specialist here is also a distributor the warranty will stay intact..

I have the FVD bypass in SS with the sharwerks 88MM tips.
It looks and sounds VERY similar to the sharkwerks bypass.

Just a question:
Is there any substantive difference in the structural design between the multiple by-passes from the different manufactures?
Doubt power gains but differences in exhaust sounds?

There is only one functional difference--divorced vs. cross-pipe. Anything else is purely cosmetic and a matter of accoustics.

RSS has a basic crossed design. GMG combines that with a megaphone pipe that may have some accoustic benefits. FVD/Brombacher is the first divorced design. Sharkey's an elegant evolution thereof, allowing the re-use of different tips.

Can't believe I wrote so much about the nuances of a bunch of pipes. Gosh I've SUCH an interesting personality...

I have ordered a Center Muffler Bypass in Titanium for 997 GT3/RS with Tips Ø 3.5" (090mm) and hopefully I will get it on monday.

I probably might be able to write down my impressions in the end of next week if you are interested.
