Indeed, the true braking performance in any one individual stop is almost always traction limited. A bigger or "better" brake can't stop you any faster than the tires grip allows. One benefit is lighter weight (reduced unsprung weight to improve handling as others have stated) but the other is that ceramics run much cooler than steels, allowing them to resist fade and boiling the brakes. This allows them to be more consistent in their braking power over a longer session or endurance race.

For what we do, if you use the proper fluid, there is absolutely no difference in braking performance (handling is another story). There is a difference in feel but that doesn't necessarily mean one is better than the other. I have owned both, they both felt great to me, and I never felt that either had any performance deficiencies.

Just my 2c.

In reading the previous posts, they don't clear the larger PCCB rotor/caliper - that's we we don't list them for PCCB cars. Again, this is a brand new wheel that is just hitting our doors. If someone wants to try one and see if it clears, feel free. But our drawing don't show they will.

From a strength standpoint, they are stronger over time (fatigue cycles) than the Allegerita is. Both are great wheels, and I know many of you have happily abused the Allegerita . But, these are designed with racing in mind and are tested to be less susceptible over time to fatigue related issues that arise from repeated track abuse.

I amended my original post and added pricing for CL wheels.

The first boat lands tomorrow, CALL ME!

Out back, 245/40 and 305/35 (11" wheel) or 335/30 (12" wheel).

If you have tons of camber, a 265 will fit on the 9" wheel up front.

19" wheels have no problems with PCCB calipers. 18" wheels do unless they are designed to go over them.

Is there an 18" standard bolt option? Or did I miss the point.

Not for the GT3. You'd have to get the allegerita.

^ the offsets listed in the OP are not the stock narrow body offsets though.

Several on here who have a lot of Porsche experience say the red and yellow calipers are no different. Can't buy right now anyway...oh well.

There is no difference in caliper/rotor size for 997.2 cars. Randy (Izzone) and I share same part numbers for PFC brakes which are 380 mm. He has steel calipers (RED) and I have pccb (YELLOW).

Looks like OZ engineering would know this by now.

18 clears a 380mm steel rotor but not a 380mm pccb rotor?

I think Damon is saying it's the calipers that are the issue...the only differnece is the paint color though
