Reter, you wont touch under 2:38 with that pos wifey car.
I took my 335i sedan manual tranny to streets of willow, easy track, then brought my 07 rs, beat the 335i by 22 secs.
335i sport package, manual tranny, you got slush box, and a lot of extra weight.

Izzone, full cage street car makes a statement.
One of my dreams is to commute to work in a 964 USA Cup, fun factor at 35 mph, no insulation, just pure feedback.
Strip geisha, do it

Something tells me you're going to resemble GI Joe with the kung fu grip here shortly.

Here's me bumbling around on Mich SS's from the first session on Sat. I really enjoy these tires despite how difficult it is to turn and brake on them compared to a r comp.
Izzone stages in hot pit to harass me starting in lap 6. Best I could do all day on these tires was a low 2:28. Not screaming but fun listening to the tires howl in pain.

I get absolutely no pleasure from driving these cars on the street...especially in SFLA/Defensive Driving Capital Of The World. Orlando is uber tame by comparison.
Case in point - 5 days after moving here - wife's company car: Ricky Racer in tricked out over-boosted rice rocket loses it on the Turnpike then hits dump truck causing wheel to come off truck.

I have to agree, I am a nervous wreck on the street driving one of my GT3's. Worried some idiot is gonna hit me or run me off the road. Worried about LE and tickets or jail - god knows I can't drive this thing anywhere near the speed limit. Can't valet it -- no Ferris Bueller games for my cars. Idiot young dudes always trying to "race" me. No fun at all. I just slug around barely over the speed limit in my big SUV, nice and relaxed.

It's like driving in dense fog, the faster you go, the less time you spend in dangerous conditions.
Just stay in the left lanes, the slow ones that can't drive tend to stay on the right.
Anyway, that's what my dad taught me.

It's a car. Drive it. That's what insurance is for. I think they blow as a daily, but its certainly fun to take it for a spin from time to time. If nothing else it'll keep that rms lubed
