Sorry, I was asking about the front lip spoiler. I have concerns about ground clearance.

Not really much worse than stock, esp with front axle lift...

approx 10 mins of your valuable time!
Laary is it pretty self explanatory once the black plugs are off or do you by chance have a procedure for adjusting the 997.2 gt3 wing?

Thanx in advance!

okey dokey your wish is my command!!!

Note that these instructions are good for the 996.2, 996.2RS, 9971.RS and 997.2, the 996.1, 997.1 had a different (but still adjustable) wing design.

Also note that the 996.2, 6.2RS and 7.1RS have 4 and 8 degree plastic shims available from dealers in order to exactly position them.

1) using a tool like a plastic putty spreader (that will not scratch your paint)
insert it under the edge of the rubber plugs found on the inside of each
upright on the decklid. Pop out the rubber plugs from their holes
(and save them)

2) you will now see 4xT45 bolts, one in each hole, loosen BUT DO NOT
REMOVE(*) them, they should be just shy of hand tight. These bolts are
inserted through curved, slotted uprights that are attached to the wing.
(*) the wing may fall off and strike the car!.

3) the wing is adjusted by pulling it up or down, with the bolts sliding along
the curved, slotted uprights. once you have the angle you want, tighten the
T45's and replace the rubber plugs. voila!

Now how do you get the correct angle of attack, well if you have shims its easy, if not then you need to measure it. With the car on a level surface use an angle tool such as this one:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004T807/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004T807/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00

place a ruler or similar flat/straight surface in the middle of the wing so that it creates a level platform across the curve of the wing
in order to set the angle (because the wing itself is not flat/level you have to approximate its centerline)
place the angle tool on this surface and adjust the wing angle to the one desired

hope this helps
