New GT3 owner . . .
Okay, so I actually got it about 6/7 weeks ago. It started as a search for an e92 M3, which ordinarily would have been fine, except that I live across the street from "The Greek." If you know him, you know why that could be a problem when trying to buy a new car. Through him, I had the good fortune of meeting Izzone while his RS was literally in pieces in his garage, and Deputy Dog for dinner and drinks in Tampa. Shortly thereafter, the daily, non-stop barrage of "did you get the car" calls and texts from the Greek and DD began. A few weeks later, these two basically take it upon themselves to negotiate a white 997.2 GT3 for me and tell me when and where to pick it up. So on a late Friday afternoon, the Greek and I, with his GT3 in tow, pick up the car, and 2 hours later, we were at Sebring enjoying Don Jose with the likes of Izzone, Deputy Dog, John M., and others.
I participated in my first PCA event that weekend with the gracious Deputy Dog as instructor, had what was probably one of the best milkshakes ever, and met some great guys. I also did a Sebring Chin event with Izzone riding shotgun since then, and needless to say, I'm hooked. The car is incredible. I even love that I don't have sports chrono (thanks to Izzone).
However, by far the best part for me has been meeting and becoming friends with several forum members. Sure, you might end up knocked out in a parking lot (no comment) or racing rickshaws down city streets if you hang out with Izzone or DD long enough, changing your outfits once or twice before meeting up with the Greek, or end up on a late night cigarette run for TrakCar, but it's all part of the experience and I embrace it all. It's been great meeting up with these guys, Tampa Steve, and Wes from Orlando for dinner and drinks over the past few weeks, and I'm looking forward to meeting other forum members soon.
Until then,
Miguel B.

Welcome to these pages.
Great to meet you. I don't smoke you must be confused. Could happen after getting knocked out and drinking heavily while having a concussion.
White is clearly the best color for any GT3 and the fastested color by far
So you're coming to Barber this weekend with the Greek??

I will give you some tips on how to beat these guys at the track, most of them break under pressure, I have tons of video to show you their fading skills especially on Sundays afternoon.

Basically DeputyDog and Izzone spent all my money, so I got pissed and made Miguel and Steven spend their money. Its a vicious cycle.
One thing I learned is that its a lot more fun to spend other peoples money....

Should have been El Toro, but I think that will be the Greek's new moniker based on his rally car driving style.
Hector did very well for his first time on the track. If we could only get him to go over 100
Peter and Randy don't smoke. Ever. Just ask them.

Does that mean you are buiying at the Lime tomorrow? Because you did a fantastic job over the last two weeks with me. If the wife only knew half of it...
