Everywhere I read they mention replacing the dog bones, so I did. I will be out there Sunday with a new set. Lets see what happens. I plan on flipping on rim this time around.

I have been playing around with an 01 Carrera before the gt3 and a 930 before that. I always ran sport cups, so this has been my first set of Hoosiers on a new car also.

It is a challenge getting use to going faster. My previous cars were 2.35-2.40. It felt like my mind was stuck or comfortable at those speeds. First couple of outtings on gt3 I could not get better than 2.31, so I got my self a coach. I must have saved 10's of thousands in comsumables by doing this and getting data in the car..

Maybe one day I will be invited to be a DE cup member. I have been here looking thru the window..
Good, then you're running too much camber. Dog bones reduce the amount of dynamic camber/toe changes, but not enough as to make a significant change on tires longevity.

All the tips from the "Road Atlanta Moving Chicane Clarke" guy are very helpful for tires longevity, any track tire.

I run my Hoosiers at 26 psi front and 30 psi rear, max hot pressures. On cold track days I go down to 24 psi front and 28 psi rear. My Fiat is heavier in the front axle than all the aero beetles. Most people run Hoosiers over-inflated.

And I forgot to mention, I am slow..... best laps a 2.26
Perfect...2:26 guy...you will be in the Coffee Cup group with me...heck I'm the only one in this group so now I got a buddy at the track to follow around!....I'm not at 2:26 yet on my crappy MPSC but I'm trying. My cars best with high end pro driver is lots of 27's....I'm at a few 28's mostly low 29's on my R888 and 29-30 on MPSC.

Mike,

Guess I need to throw some Rcomps on the 6GT3 and come join you in the mid 2:25 to 2:30 range. But then I would have to move to Chin Red group and give point bye's to the usual suspects.

Please come on out...Coffee Cup series of GT3DE Cup needs more support....I'll bring the coffee maker to the pits for us!

Run PBOC Super Solo, no point by's the usual suspects just come blazing on by. Chin and PBOC seems to be the best there is.

I wanna join the Cup of Coffee with my Cayman, but last time I ran it, it was deep into Moving Chicane territory, same as 85Gold's M3. 85Gold's Pony car should be solid in the Cup of Coffee with track tires.

Gotta burn through the AD08's on the car now then I will get some NT01's. Don't know if I can learn the secret handshake for PBOC SS. See what the fall brings.

Fall with cooler weather is nice for a warm cup of coffee.
