LOL, we do our best, but I get only 40 track days a year, Randy might be getting close with 26 events in about 6 months....

quatro punto cero has about a dozen or so track days. He's had some issues, but nothing big.

Well, I'm all for analog, but I think PDK is a must for the next GT3, and a track oriented active suspension, with a race style traction control will probably be in the offing as well.

I'm OK with all the above if it's in a lighter car than the std 991, and almost all previously posted wish list items that aren't in conflict with some 'digital' (faster) equipment. The 'digital' gear is what is going to get them GT3 to exceed the performance envelope of it's predecessors (including probably the GT2).

Just my opinion....

NIZER for PRESIDENT in november!
maybe i will actually vote for once.

wt reduction is mandatory!
480-500hp: i lilkey
Brake calipers that facilitate quick, easy pad changes: amen
Dynamic engine mounts separated from Sport Chrono option: i would go with semi solid mounts. many trackers' DEM are failing.
Factory installed rollbar mounting plates: yippee
Hydraulic steering (or worst case Cup car electric steering system): yes
True dry sump system: obvious
Defeatable ABS: debatable, i like ABS.
5-lug wheels: right on.
Manual transmission that allows selection of any gear anytime: good
Lightweight single-mass flywheel: yes
10" wide front wheels with 265 section tires: rad will love it.
12" rear wheels with 325 section tires: 13" would nicer.
Clubsport seat option (not all Americans are fat): max told me he's not fat, he's just "fluffy"
Normal handbrake: yep, none of this push button crap
Monoball suspension: cool
Integrated aero: hum.... i was thinking of a bigger taller wing so i can look silly.

The only reason the 4.0 would have 'progressive' springs is that they upped the spring rate for the 4.0 (likely) and the 'progressive' part will be coil bound under load and will only be active under droop, which you want, like a main + helper / tender setup.

The other reason is that for TUV reasons, you need to have the spring fully seated even at full droop. Again, this isn't really an issue as under load you are operating using the main and at drop the progressive part will only be used for a tiny fraction of a second.

<-------- I have set my car up this way and I like it

can you imagine the n-ring lap time
- 2900# car
- race ABS
- 'better lsd'
- 265/325 with better aero
- 550hp 4.2 liter
- 7 speed paddle with race gearing

my guess is sub 7:15

The initial spring rate is said to be only 90lbs. Juan is taking his springs off, it takes to long to set the car, or it sets in 2 steps. he has complained about that since he received the car.

Fluffy sounds good.
Can I still get CL as an option?
