I wonder why the 997.2 produce more power with 3.8l @ 450hp approx 475-480 with full exhaust than 997.1 3.6 engines converted into 3.8 -4.0l hp ratings?
For example below is a conversion kit for a 3.6 GT3 to 4 liters and only 465 hp?

342KW (465PS), 485Nm
Also Mantheys 4.1 is rated at 480 hp??
there was a thread here regarding the heads on the 3.8RS have a diffrent part number on the 3.8 GT3s heads , something to do with diffrent porting?

although i find the 520whp a bit infalted.. Thats 20hp more than the 4.0 RS produce at crank
and about 110whp more than a 3.8 RS

88 mm TB?
Did they design and create an entirely new TB?
The stock 82 mm TB can not be machined/bored to 88 mm. There isn't enough metal/meat left. It would be way to thin to hold up or work with.
Unless they are boring the back side in a flared manner behind the throttle plate?
We will be testing with 84 and 86 mm TB's on the dyno to see what gives.

Looking at the pics from the Peak link I noticed they ported and polished the intake manifolds.
Ah $h!t, I thought we were they only ones doing this. No just kidding, we got the idea from Manthey .
There using a stock GT3RS crankshaft and stock ECU?
Can't see how they make 520 rwhp. Need to see dyno graphs.
