Gave into my temptation (Sharkwerks Content)
I was fairly happy with the stock center muffler, especially with the bypass valve unplugged. Even though I love my friends' SW bypass, I didn't see the value of it (or any other bypass), since there's no major weight saving compare to the RS center muffler. But as I read about the issues others have with keeping the valve unplugged, I decided not to take any risk and pulled the trigger on the bypass.
I decided to tackle the install myself over the weekend. It was fairly straightforward, and the instruction was very helpful. However, I ran into a little problem with aligning the bypass. It was sticking out too far and pointing upward, so it was too close to the black plastic bumper cover.
I contacted Dan and Alex over the weekend, and to my surprise, I received prompt responses from them. When I still couldn't get it right, they let me bring the car in this morning, at the last minute. I've read all about SW great customer service, and they've certainly exceeded my expectation. And I am loving the new sound from the bypass muffler. Definitely worth it!!! Thanks again to Alex, Dan, and James!!!

Yup! Alex, Dan, James and gang are top notch. They treated my '09 Carrera with the same care as I'd want if it were a 4.0 liter or a GT2 RS. And, all they were doing was a plain-Jane bypass install. Good peoples there for sure.

Thanks for coming in Edwin and glad you got it all sorted. I have a funny pic somewhere of the Riviera blue bumper installed on your white car temporarily while we tested for fitment. Cool video too, those last few revs sound great!

I wonder if we swapped bumpers if we'd notice?

I remember my first time with the sharkwerks bi pass.
One my most favorite memorable experiences with the GT3 when i first bought it.
I remember thinking " hell yeah! That sounds awesome!". " Cant wait to put the windows down on the freeway to try it again!!"
It makes the whole GT3 experience that much more special.

Thanks mate that means a lot to hear! I was chugged back in June of 07 when James whizzed by my with a test version of it on Kermit! I told him to do it over and over again and he looked at me and said, "calm down junior, she's only got 200 miles on her..."
Hope you like it

Heh, yeah, definitely not a "track scalpel" like a GT3...I'd trade it for one of you guys' cars in a second.
Sorry to go OT, just browsing above my pay grade in the GT3 forum, drooling....
