Start 32 cold and I would shoot for around 38 front 40 rear hot. That is my plan for Sebring in 2 weeks. Will take temps and adjust as necessary. Catesby Jones runs 38 hot on his One Lap GT-r.

Thanks for the info Peter. We'll start from your suggestions. So you going to be at Sebring end March?

I like your hot temp as thats about what I was running at NOLA, but I would probably come out a little warmer. Do a few laps progressively getting faster, and then bleed down to target temps during the first session. Once I got them dialed in at NOLA, they were were pretty much spot on the rest of the day as you do retain some heat in the tires between sessions.

Damon at TR is pretty specific about not beating the crap out of these tires when either too hot or too cold as bad things will happen either way in a track environment. Maybe not right then, but we aren't racers so we don't throw them away after one session

Nick,

I won't be at Sebring with NASA as I plan on going to Hallett that weekend. Are you running HPDE4 or TT with NASA

I based my cold temps on where I started my AD08's on the GT3. The AD08 has a really stiff sidewall, steel inserts, whereas the PSS sidewall is softer like the PS2. Dawg may have a better handle to start a little higher cold to prevent excessive rollover on out laps
