Default 3.6L GT3 Header Part Numbers

Can anyone help me out and post the part numbers for each side 997.1 GT3 exhaust manifold?

Looking to pick some up for my 996 and need to confirm the part number difference between the 3.6 and 3.8.

Much appreciated!

But they are expensive so don't buy new.. with the same money you can get aftermarket headers and/or better cats.

Slow, all of the 997 headers had integral cats correct?

Correct. And the 4l has less restrictive ones.

John, I've also been considering a set up similar to sharkwerks 6GT3 3.9, is it safe to assume that the OEM 7GT3 3.8 & 3.6 exhaust manifolds are interchangeable?

yup.

But why?

They come with junk cats, offer no real HP gains over the 6 ones, and the only reason Porsche used them was their superior performance emission wise.
( even in their marketing material they never implied otherwise)

They also helped them with the then new layout, of two valved side mufflers and rear center section.

Best,

I'm worried about no cats and warranty.
How much faster will I go if I exchange my headers for quatro punto cero's when he's not looking? His car happens to be at Orbit now..

Best,
I'd like to eliminate the side mufflers and add a center silencer (á la Sharkwerks 3.9) in hopes of gaining a little power and dropping some weight; I plan to have the car tuned as well. I'd love to have an AWE or Super Sprint 7GT3 set up, but those systems are out of my range. I'm open to suggestions - what would be a reasonable $ alternative?

I don't know about the 4.0 setup specifically, but there are real quantifiable gains to be had with less restrictive cats on 3.8's. By the looks of the math, some 3-5% in rwhp based on recent track data on my own car.
