Default CUP wing and struts on my 4.0

There was a thread sometime back where someone adapted the hybrid wing and stanchions to an RS (1 or 2 ?) Has anyone put the CUP wing on a 3.8 or 4.0. ?

I love the looks of the stock wing but it's driving me crazy with absolutely NO visibility. Constantly straining my neck to odd angles to see if Porky is behind me .... which isn't very safe !

My 1st choice would be to use the CUP stanchions under my OE 4.0 wing

My 2nd choice would be to put the CUP wing and stanchions on my 4.0.

Any experienced input is welcomed !

wing is from carnewal and it fits the 2010 gt3rs decklid but you will need to order the uprights and the wingblade as the stock wingblade does not bolt to hybrid uprights from what I have been reading im my research. It's a big wing, I think it may be higher than the cup. I know that it removes the lack of view thru the rearview mirror when looking from the driving position. This will help to see out the rearview instead of just looking at your wing/ Now you will see the cops driving up behind you, but they will see you hiding behind small buildings when trying to duck them it really isnt as expensive as one might think, http://www.carnewal.com/ is the place to look

the wing blade, end plates and uprights all came from carnewal, factory hybrid race car parts.

I put this on my 3.8.
I have held off on my 4.0 but it is
very easily done and fits straight on.
I got it from Gert at Carnewal.

Working on it, soon to be released. Also a few other options, with adjustability and capability to use the RSR wing which has a more appealing design if compared to the Cup wing.

Like the RSR wing...but it's still a recession so may stick with just raising the 3.8 wing up.

That GT3R Hybrid wing from Carnewal looks pretty nice.

How are the RSR and R Hyrbid wings different?

Looks like the riser element is different, but are the wing and endplates the same?

R Hyrbid: http://green.autoblog.com/photos/24-...photo-2983573/

Why stop at a Cup wing when we can have RSR wing?

I have them all sitting here at the shop. The hybrid looks like the RSR wing, at least from what I can see in the pics.
When I referred to RSR, I was using the 2007 RSR as a reference.

Ever since I put my cup wing on, I have started to use my side mirrors more...

Anything larger than a cup wing just looks ridiculous for a street car. Taller uprights in the same design/form factor would be ideal. You will probably need to get these on the aftermarket or have some custom cut. It shouldn't be too difficult. Maybe what Orbit is working on will fit the bill.

In that case one wouldnt need larger wings because scud may not even be in plain view behind with or without the cup/rsr/hyprid wing
