And the 4.0 endplates aren't anything new. The basic design has been around since the 3.6RS...

Exposed carbon fiber is cute, but the PORSCHE emblazoned across it looks truer to its motorsport DNA.

Conversely it's a bit much for some people's taste...

Finally have an image of the hardware on the 4.0. Sorry for the size. I left it bigger than normal so the numbers could be read.

Haha, didn't say they were worth much more than the 3.8RS hardware just nothing they used a slightly different bolt there.

I know..

FWIW PET shows no different bolts for the I006 (4l RS).
It's probably a change in their supplier of bolts.
For example, I have ordered a replacement bolt for my Crawford wing and received a newer one that looks different.
Same Porsche part number, different manufacturer. It's quite common.

Or.. you have that rare 4l with special torx bolts.

You really need that extra 50HP to push the extra 3 degree's through the air on the straights!

Funny part about it is the bolts pictured are for the lower section of the upright to the decklid. The bolts mounting the wing to the upright are different than the ones pictures. They are the same as the 3.8RS with no writing on them. Then the bolts for the endplate to the wing are the same ones pictured. Still not saying they are anything special but funny they are that different.

you can adjust the "normal" RS wing to the same angle as the 4.0 There is a 2nd set of holes in the rear under the bolts. The deck lid has the larger air intake openings for the carbon air box.

So if I adjust my 3.8 wing and add the 4.0 dive planes, will it work? Or do I need to change something else.

Has anyone done this wing adjustment?

I believe you are correct.
