The 599 is no slouch but the F12 will be awesome. The V12's do seem to depreciate faster. I will try one sooner or later. A 599is less GT than you think. Try one before you make that call. For now the 599 is very fun. A different kind of fun than than F430 or a GT3RS but fun. I do have a 458 on order. I don't know if I will keep both. I love Porsches but there is something about a Ferrari.

Awesome F-cars. Looking at the 360 to 430 to 458 progression, will we see the same with the GT3; 997.1 to 997.2 to 991?
