if you see one you really like, pay that extra 10k and be done with it.
10K here, 10K there, pretty soon you're talking real money!

+1. Instead of trying to save, and not get what you want. Pay what you need to pay toget what you want and move on.

So with that attitude you would pay 120 K for the right GT3? Not an RS, but a GT3? C'mon I'm all for not quibbling when you find the right car (which is what I did- no quibbling, just bought it), but there is a limit. The higher priced cars are sitting around for a reason.

Really, the OP is just trying to understand the market value for what is arguably a big purchase. All opinions aside the right answer is to talk about actual Manheim Auction prices for GT3's and talk about dealer mark-up and private party mark-up.

About a month or so ago someone posted Manheim Auction values of around 93 to 97K for low mileage GT3's .2 models IIRC. Not sure if that has moved much in the last month, but updated numbers will really help anyone in the market- again, fact, not opinion.

Facts are facts of course, but these Manheim numbers are wholesale from the worse time of year to sell a sports car.

Rad, Thanks. My car is not for sale at the moment.

I walked away from three cars because they were five thousand above my price range. At the end of a six month journey I ended up paying the five g, I didn't want to spend. I am happy with the car I have. Looking back, I would've done the same. I am not saying a regular GT3 is worth $120. I think it should be $105k to $110 MAX!

For reference, last 4 2010 GT3's to pass thru Manheim:

12/16 97,500 3969mi avg cond
1/19 93,000 11309mi avg cond
2/16 86,500 19543mi below avg bond
2/28 96,000 19582 avg cond

There was one sale on 12/15 last year at $78K but IIRC, that is an accident car with 2 engine out repairs that is sitting on the lot at Auto Gallery at around $105K. They tried to sell it to a friend without disclosing any of it's history.

is there not a way to tell if these are GT3 or GT3RS?
