These Dive planes most certainly will make your 997 look much faster but surely we have to know a bit more than just this ?
Are the CUP-R cars aerodynamics not quite different with specific front and rear spoilers which will work differently with a dive plane to a road spoilered car ?
There is a facility at MIRA in the UK where for about £750 you can have an hour in the wind tunnel, does any such facility exist near the makers of these items ? £750 doesn't seem much considering the interest shown on this thread or are we all just blingers![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Being a blinger I would like to fit a set to my 7GT2 to divert the airflow past my RS wheel arches and spaced out (bigger) wheels but I read somewhere that on the turbo cars the air exiting the side radiators is ducted through to the wheel arch wells into a low pressure zone and then sucked out by the air passing the outside of the wheel and that the dive planes would interfere with this process as they divert the air which would be doing the "sucking out"
Question is, do GT3s have the same radiator set up/layout as GT2s including ducting layout ?
Thanks for any info ?

Hello I don't believe it will fit the bumper of the 997 GT2. They were made for the 997.2 GT3 bumpers.
No wind tunnel data either, like I said this is a CUP-R part.

Those flares you saw on the picture. Are from a 2012 Grand am specs, and I just verified and the flares are part of the fender. They are carbon fenders.
The flares on the regular cup are the same ones on a 2010 GT3RS

Guys,
What BMWTYE was talking about were the flares from the Grand-AM car, that on the mentioned pic still a Cup fender, but was replaced to a Grand AM carbon kevlar fender, and the flare is included (part of the fender, not an add on part) which is available to street cars, if anyone is interested.
What Larry Cable is mentioning are the wheel well gurneys, those are not carbon, but they look like carbon, and are available thru Orbit. They are Cup parts. I have them on my car
