Interesting....

i now put the price up to $80k

I would imagine the title is clean and at most shows an insurance repair?
Title is clean

All damage was cosmetic, structurally car was fine

You are quite wrong on your statement

The owner of this car is a friend of mine.

Very skilled and fast driver

Two different rs I know of saw the wall at Sebring this year from ice mode. If you havnt experienced it you probably havnt pushed your car to the limit yet

Both ceramic brakes, both running proper sized Hoosier

Lesson learned from this is ceramic brakes have a hidden demon, they are overpriced paperweights to me

He is not the only skilled driver to have this happen in an RS.

The damage looks worse then it is.

The doors and rear fenders were not repainted, just the nose, front fenders and rear.
I am no expert but the car looked like new when I looked it over.

The carfax is clean, so it depends how much you care that there was damge reviously.
Perhaps the owner has underneath the damage pictures to show no real damge just some panels, paint and front window.

That's a lot of paint work etc.... and aftermarket CF panels vs OEM is probably not a good trade but it does look cool.

Props to the seller for going for it though

This one looks like a good car and deal

I am calling BS on the PCCB ice mode stuff. I did over 9,000 TRACK miles on my 2010 GT3 with PCCB and never had ice mode.

I had the pleasure of following this driver at Sebring and yes, he is fast. But he also looped in front of me in t7 causing me to take evasive action off-road which resulted in me loosing a brand new 1-day old GMG header and a few othe misc parts.

I saw that kind of thing happening a few times with the same driver, different tracks, different cars ... I could be wrong, but I believe is the same person who crashed a lotus in PBIR. Forgot to say that the car was on fire also.
Again, not sure if is the same driver.

In the Teamspeed thread posted somewhere here....

But yes I agree with your point - nowhere in the ebay ad is there mention of what (from the pics at least) appears to be a fairly heroic crash.

I may or may not buy a car that has been through that, but certainly not for that price, and I would certainly appreciate a description of what the car has been through.

Cars with 900 miles and no stories are being sold for his asking price.
