No problem. I don't know how you pulled it off so quickly, but I'll be there and do my best.

Always aiming to please.

I must be dyslexic.

My 997C2S is my race car and my GT3RS is my street car.

But they ruined (electrified) the Cayman's steering too...

You shouldn't let kids play around your car. Looks like one put a sticker on it.

That first picture was just a test shot. You guys don't get to see the rest. Only my trusty photo assistant knows what was captured. and it was about 480 pictures worth.

The 991 looks smaller in person. Size is just fine.

In the garage next to my 997 you cannot see a difference in size. Inside however you do feel it has a little more room.

I think the true 911 is officially dead with the 991. Its gotten too big and to polished. IMO its not a sports car anymore it's a GT car that drives better than 99% of the current GT cars.

Porsche has a hit on their hands, and I see the 991 outselling the 997 which was their best selling 911 to date. This car will appeal to the masses, not just the Porsche fan. But by doing so IMO lost everything I loved in a 911, those arching curves, stellar steering with feeback, compact shape and a no nonsense interior that said "just get in, shut up, and drive!"

Does the 991 perform better on paper, YES.
Is it easier to drive at the limit, YES.
Is it more tame, YES.
Am I happy with the result, NO.

My plan now is to stock pile 997's and then begin resto-modding older 911's to keep my Porsche itch scratched.
A lot of people said that with the introduction of the 996 (Water Cooled Engine). the 996 was way bigger, way heavier, way more polished (than the 993) and more GT car like. The comparisons are almost identical.

In this case bigger isn't a factor unless it's heavier, which it's not. More wheelbase is beneficial and this will become evident when the 991 Cups and RSR's debut. You just won't be able to keep up with the small wheelbases vs Corvette's and Ferrari's. And if the 911 doesn't keep up on the racetrack, it will die for real!

Besides, you can't judge the life of the 911 without there being a Turbo, GT2 or GT3 involved right? This is the base model, it SHOULD appeal to the masses, that way they can sell more of them and keep the upper models more pure.

However if the GT3 comes with PDK I will agree with you.
