Default 991 GT3 active rear spoiler ;-)

I drove a 991 C2S today, rennlister Scott997 was nice enough to let me test drive it.

I figure the engine cover that does not really cover anything will be an eactive spoiler on the GT3

That's a fine looking Aston right there.
Does it come with a holder for the Bollinger or the dash defibrillator?

We can work that out in a year or so.
By next week I'll have pictures of the waitress ;-)
Letting you drive it was no problem, getting my seat back to where I like it will be!

We should take 991 and GT3 to Sebring.
I could report how the steering feels through 17..

I figures out Taxi signage for cream one.
Dog's name is Maxi, so I can totally see Maxitaxi :-)

Very, very impressive.

First thought when you get in is that it is beautiful and BIG. I'm big and there is plenty of space. Very nice GT. I love the Agate? Grey, very classy.

PDK with sport exhaust combo reminds me of AMG, blips gurgles etc.
The car is fast, comfy, upscale. Polished.

The way the doors close, hood opens, interior, fit and finish is impressive, very nice Benz like.
Steering offers no feel. I read about it, but it was pretty shocking. Feels like nothing like GT3. Mind you well weighted, direct, but no feel.

Depending on how it feels through T17, T10 and T13 at Sebring I can tell you more. Worried if they keep it like this in a GT3; your butt feels the slide, but your hands don't feel the grip of the fronts, I think it's going to be a deal breaker. But I reserve judgement until I drive on at the track.

The rear is very clean, little Aston like but nice. The front misses the classic high fenders and round head lamps. The boot is bigger, deeper.

If I'd be driving a 997 and don't track too much, I would be selling my 997.

Congrats Scott! So what are your opinions about the car? You're the best person to compare since you have a .2 GT3 and a 991

Did you take it to PBIR yet?

So, active rear spoiler, or speed brake a la McLaren.

Very good review. thanks, I sat in the car at the toronto auto show and I would have to agree with you on the feel. You pinned it perfectly and hit the nail right on the head interms of ÜPSCALE and classy. I felt the sameway about the 991 inside.

I didnt get to drive it and I have not heard the exhaust other than in some videos. I look forward to hearing more about the road feel an the stearing. When you mentioned the feel of stearing was not there or lacking it made wonder. Would you think the car is alittle dangerous considering you can feel the butt slide but cant really feel it in the hands or on the wheel? wouldnt this get alittle hairy in a situation or I guess its something one would have to get used to?? Do you think from your experiences thus far that you will be buying one when the GT cars come out? I think the car will be nice if they dont drop the manual. Trakcar is your bimmer PDK or manual? How did you like this flappy padles trans? Will you beable to stomach buying a gt car later down the line if they dont offer manual?
