For all you LA people I'm planning on buying a car from Paul Kramer at Autokennel in Costa Mesa. Just wondering if anybody has heard of this place and what their reputation is, good bad or otherwise. Also I need the name of a mechanic that can do a pre-purchase inspection for me.

Hi. Don't know the shop but you're in luck as two very strong shops are in the area: Stuttgart Performance (RSS) and GMG. Hope that helps.

FWIW - When I purchased a 7.1 GT3 from Irvine in December, had the PPI done at Hergesheimer Motorsports in Lake Forest. Seemed pretty thorough. I also talked with Dwain at Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills.

Hard to argue against GMG and RSS though ...
