Have had the front discs replaced with the lovely Brembo slotted along with change of pads to PF. Not tracked car yet (this Friday) but have noticed the ABS cuts in a lot more when I have had brake heavily (not track heavily) on road. Anyone experienced this and is it likely to be the same on the track?

 

I felt no difference anywhere with PFC08 pads, rotors should not matter. Should be the same!?

Your tires are most likely the issue. More grip is needed.

 

MPSC done 2500 km, no track days and lots of tread left.

 

You have just switched from Trofeo to MPSC. MPSC has less grip, you can't pull off the same stuff.

1198r, I'm about to put PFC 08 pads on with type III slotted Brembos. Are you having good luck with that setup? Did your car initially have PCCB? If so, what are the part numbers on the PFC pads you used?
