Unhappy 2010 997.2 GT3 starter sticks

My 2010 GT3 starter began to stay engauged after the engine turns over ... But ONLY after the car has been unused for at least 4 or 5 days ... Immediately turn it off, wait 10 seconds and restart with no problem ... Dealer not able to reproduce so I videoed it ... Starter replaced but now 1 month later it's back again ... Any thoughts out there ?

Whenever I stall my car or stop it, and try to restart right away I can't. I remove the key wait a few seconds and start with no problem.

If the dealer wasn't able to reproduce then I don't think you have a problem. Maybe you are holding the key in the turned position too long when you start the car---or something like that.

Good Luck

Same happens with mine, same response by dealer. Like the starter gets stucked only on first start after the car has been sitting for a day or two, then it works fine...

if you video taped it try to post the video. does sound like a short somewhere. Are you noticing this in certain weather (is it by chance raining or moisture)
