I'd be shocked. If there is really only one gearbox choice, I expect Manual for GT3 and PDK-S for RS.

If this really happens - better hold on to the all the pre-991 gt3s! A PDK only GT3 would not make me want to buy one....

no more heal toe issues ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
seriously however, i think the 6 speed manual will be offered first and then the PDK follows a year later... just as porsche always drags out incremental things...
for the road car a 6 speed is fun, for the track a PDK would be better.
for daily driving PDK also wins.
I think i will take my 991 in 6 speed and a 991 CUP in PDK

That will be my vanity plate on my 991GT3 with PDK - "TRQVCTR"...
Forgive me for the skiing analogy, but PDK is like the advent of shape skis (groomers) and rocker skis (powder) - it makes life easier for the masses! On one hand, that is great... but on the other, how do we separate the men from the boys?

Porsche is not designing cars for guys like us anymore![surrender](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/surrender.gif)
With approximately 80% of their sales being Cayennes and Panameras, the writing is on the wall.
Keep what you've got! Go lock your garage door now!

When I see it I will beleave it, That is not even a gt3 in the picture. just another speculation
Its a great post, nice read and interesting info but I highly doubt the 6 speed gear box is dead. Maybe oneday but Im sure it will not be this soon. Just does not make sense. Everyone seems more than pleased with the current model gt3 and they only came in manual, Id be more than sure to think porsche would first try to faise the pdk into gt3 with it being an option alongside the manual before making it the only avalible gearbox. This just does not add up. I think many people will be disappointed if this truly is the new way of porsche and the gt3
just my opinion,
